The Breville Precision Brewer is a 12-cup drip coffee maker that is precise with its temperature and brew time, delivering high-quality coffee with every brew. The Breville Precision comes with six brew modes.

From fast brew to iced brew and all in between, it seems to me the go-tos across the board appear to be the "Gold" and the "My Brew" settings. Using the Gold setting, your coffee is prepared with the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) standards. For me, that would be it right there.

However, the My Brew setting allows all coffee lovers and nerds alike to control the brewing temperature, extraction time, and the blooming phase. You can experiment with different levels of coffee strengths and brew times, acting as your own in-house barista.

Brew temperature is essential for coffee extraction. Breville Precision offers steady and spot-on heat levels required to meet the Gold Cup Standard. Breville reaches industry-standard brew temperatures between 195 degrees F. and 205 degrees F. A coffee grounds temperature test shows the temperature hits 200.2 degrees F. within a minute. Into the last six minutes and thirty seconds, the temperature fluctuates to 201.5 degrees F., proving its ability to produce high-quality coffee.
